This blog is a form of what they call : PURPOSE DRIVEN CONTENT or simply said Content that has a PURPOSE.
You may ask what is the PURPOSE of this blog as it relates ? Well thats simple The PURPOSE of this blog was directed and inspired by me (Kentucky 24 ) Jason Poat and my journey with the carrier of my choice Miller Transporters based in Jackson , MS .
The information contained in this blog is ment to give you a idea as to what to expect at this carrier and what not to expect.
By posting events as a journal you will be able to see in REAL LIFE what it is like to drive for Miller , and most importantly ; the two main questions that I get asked .
- How much MONEY can I make ?
- Whats my HOME TIME gonna be ?
The more you read the more you will find out to enable you to make a sound decision as to whether or not Miller is a good fit for you and your operation as a driver be it a Owner Operator or a Company Driver
Keeping that in mind also know that I am a Owner Operator AKA : (O/O) if your new to the trucking lingo. So the numbers that may be posted here will be revenue as a Owner Operator and as time goes on maybe in the future I will try to convert that into a Company Driver pay scale also but as for now ( today) the numbers posted will be that of a Owner Operator such as myself.
What works for my operation may not work for yours as a business model and this blog will also help you make that determaination, as well as if you are a current company driver (at another carrier) and are looking to make the switch to become a Owner Operator this blog will also help you to see some of the GROSS FIGURES WEEKLY to help you decide if making the jump is right for you. Personally I can tell you I bought my truck (first truck I have ever owned) roughly 1.5 years ago and its been the best decision that I have ever made . Also remember MY GROSS FIGURES are provided as a tool to use and not a basis as to what you will make each week, Know that each week will differ as freight flow dictates your true revenue . There will be bad weeks and there will be good weeks . There will be weeks you make way more than I post , and there will be weeks you make less.
With that being said you now know what PURPOSE DRIVEN CONTENT is :
Now lets talk about a nasty word called
SABOTAGE
What does it mean ?

OK now that we have that out of the way know that many people out here in this world hate for anyone to be happy, or to boast that they are truly happy with a company or an organization .
What was that called ?
Thats right ..PURPOSE DRIVEN CONTENT .
Those people will go out of their way to get their message across and try to detract readers into thinking the material being posted is false or ficticus . They also will go to lengths to state that I am a recruiter for Miller and not a driver at all .
The fact of the matter is I am indeed a driver . I do this blog out of my own FREE WILL and DONATE my time and effort to it.

I am a motivated person with the abition to help others to acheive what I have in the Trucking Business , that is become a SMALL BUSINESS OWNER or to work for a GREAT COMPANY as a COMPANY DRIVER .
Is every company perfect ? No not even close, I am not even going to try and tell you that.
But when you find a good thing and want to share it with others , just be aware of the nasty word called ; SABOTAGE and what it really means when you see folks try to detract you from ;
